Allerair 5000 MCS is also for multiple chemical sensitivies (MCS) individuals. However this one focus more on controlling dust and allergen rather than smoke or odor.
Like all Allerair machines, the Allerair 5000 MCS contains no chemical that would trigger allergies in these individuals. The HEPA lasts 3-5 years while the carbon needs change every 1-3 years. It's portable with four casters. The company also have custom ordered air purifier to cater different type of air pollution.
The Bad.
The noise level is relatively high
Only 3 fan speeds It has no filter change indicator - so you need to keep track of it yourself. Prefilter need to be changed every 2-3 month.
THE BOTTOMLINE.
The Allerair 5000 MCS air purifier is quite expensive . However, it is still one of the best choice for those with serious multiple chemical sensitivities.
