 About This Air Purifier.
The Friedrich C-90A air filter is an ionizing air filter.
It works by reversing the electric charge in particles, so that allergens either fall to the floor or stick to the walls -- removing them from the air (but not necessarily capturing them on the air purifier's collection plates or filter). The Good.
Without the expensive HEPA, the replacement filter costs is only for the cheap carbon filter.
It cleans the air (but dust, particles may stick to your wall).
The Bad.
Friedrich c-90A emits musty, hazardous ozone
The higher the fan speed, the less effective the machine Quite noisy on high.
May interfere with TV reception.
Only 1 year warranty.
THE BOTTOMLINE.
We do not recommend the Friedrich c-90A air purifer. Apart from the musty and hazardous ozone problem, there are other cheaper and more effective HEPA air purifiers in the market.
