 The Good.
Like the other Hamilton air purifier, the Hamilton Beach Ultra Digital 04161 air purifier has a lot of features usually found in more expensive air cleaners.
It has smart sensor to adjust the fan speed automatically. It also has 3 stages of filtration, including UV germicidal light - something not usually found in a small room air purifier.
Hamilton Beach Ultra Digital 04161 unit comes with digital display and knobs for adjusting it's fan speeds.
This model is also smaller than the 04163 model, so it's easy to carry when you are traveling.
The Bad.
Quite noisy
It's CADR rate is far lower than the Hamilton 04163 model (which costs around $179).
Annual filter replacement cost is higher than most small air purifiers. None of it can be reused/cleaned.
THE BOTTOMLINE.
If you need an air purifier that you can bring during travel, this maybe a good bet. However, the bigger 04163 model is more suitable for home use.
