That machine you buy to clear floating dust and dander inside your home could be producing greater danger – with a gas called ozone.
Ozone is an irritant, and it literally burns the inside of your lungs.
If you have bought ionic air cleaners you should know that most of them generate ozone. But it should be under the 50 parts per billion limit set by the FDA (assuming that it’s working properly).
However, if you have wrongly bought ozone generators masked as air purifiers, you should be very concerned.
